Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Real Madrid legend, Sergio Ramos has sent a tribute to Zlatan Ibrahimovic after the Sweden striker announced his retirement from professional football.

Ibrahimovic addressed AC Milan fans at the San Siro following their 3-1 win over Hellas Verona on the final day of the Serie A season last weekend.

The 41-year-old officially announced he was retiring while thanking supporters.

It brings an end to a remarkable career that has spanned 22 years in which Ibrahimovic has played for some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Manchester United, Barcelona and Ajax.

Reacting to Ibrahimovic’s retirement, Ramos, in a post on his Instagram story on Monday, said, “Zlatan hasn’t retired from football, football has retired from Zlatan. You will be missed, lion.”
