Bukayo Saka

Bukayo Saka has been named as the Premier League’s Player of the Month for March.

Arsenal tweeted their congratulations to the 21-year-old star, who has played a key role for the Gunners in their quest for Premier League glory. Arsenal won all four of their league games in March, with Saka scoring three goals for Mikel Arteta’s side.

The 21-year-old’s performance in the 4-1 win over Palace made him the youngest player in Arsenal history to reach double figures for both goals and assists in a PL season, beating Cesc Fabregas’s record.

Saka topped a six-man shortlist that also included Alexander Isak, Alexis Mac Allister, Tyrone Mings, Mohamed Salah and fellow Arsenal team-mate Leandro Trossard.

It is the first time Saka has won this award, while he is the second Arsenal player to nab the gong this season, after Martin Odegaard received the joint November/December award.
