On a Wednesday hard hit by the coronavirus pandemic, AlmerĂa announced a COVID-19 positive in the squad. Then it was the turn of Sevilla and Real Zaragoza.
Through a video on his social media, Nemanja Gudelj confirmed that he was the Sevilla player who tested positive, so he will continue to remain isolated at home.
The players, coaching staff, and rest of the staff underwent a second wave of PCR tests and, on Thursday morning, the club made the results aware.
All of the test results were negative, so Sevilla, with Lopetegui in charge, will return to training on Thursday with a view to the Europa League match against Roma.
For the moment, with the only positive in the team confirmed, who is without symptoms and in good health, it seems that this situation will not affect the future of the Europa League.
