Chris Basham has signed a new deal with Sheffield United that will see the defender remain at the club until the summer of 2022.
Basham joined Sheffield in the summer of 2014 from Blackpool and has since made 282 appearances while scoring 14 goals and providing 11 assists in the process.
The 32-year-old was named Sheffield United’s Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Year at the end of the 2018/19 season.
“I’m looking forward to the future, working with the manager and helping to push the club on further,” he said.
“We’re all striving for the same thing, starting with the manager and throughout the club, we all have the same ambitions and same goals.”
