Bayer Leverkusen winger Karim Bellarabi has extended his contract with the Bundesliga club.
Bellarabi, who was a target by a number of Premier League clubs has ended the speculations surrounding his future after signing a new contract that will keep him at Leverkusen until the summer of 2023.
“We are happy that we were able to agree on the continuation of our co-operation in very harmonious discussions,” said Bayer Leverkusen sports director Rudi Voller.
“Karim has been with us since 2011, he has developed into an outstanding Bundesliga professional in his position here in Leverkusen. When he brings his high-speed football onto the pitch, he is a different player. ”
The 30-year-old joined Leverkusen from Eintracht Braunschweig in 2011.
