Brentford striker Ollie Watkins is set to undergo a medical at Aston Villa today.
According to Sky Sports, Watkins travelled to Birmingham last night after Villa agreed an initial fee of £28million plus a potential further £5m in add-ons.
The 24-year-old hitman scored 49 goals in 143 appearances for the Bees.
Sky also claim Villa are interested in Arsenal goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez — but the Gunners will only consider selling if they can find a replacement.
Martinez, 28, kept nine clean sheets in 23 games last season and helped the Londoners win the FA Cup.
Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi could be set for another loan spell with Crystal Palace.
Speaking to Belgian broadcaster RTBFA after scoring twice for Belgium against Iceland last night, he said: “Am I going to re-sign at Chelsea to be loaned to Crystal Palace?
“You’re on the right track when you say that. It’s something like that.
“The most important thing for me is to have playing time and to be ready when I come to the national team.”
Batshuayi, 26, netted six goals in 13 appearances while on loan at Palace in 2018-19.
Fikayo Tomori also looks set to leave Stamford Bridge on a season-long loan.
ESPN claim the 22-year-old centre-back has attracted interest from Rennes and Newcastle but Everton are believed to be in pole position.
Tomori signed a five-year contract with Chelsea in December and boss Frank Lampard still views him as a talented prospect.
The England international impressed during the first half of last season but did not feature after football emerged from lockdown.
He has also fallen further down the pecking order following the arrival of Thiago Silva.
Meanwhile, The Sun suggest Premier League newcomers Leeds and West Brom lead the race to sign young Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher.
The Blues intend to hand Gallagher, 20, a new contract when he returns from international duty before sending him out on loan once again.
He spent the first half of last season at Charlton before moving to Swansea.
Reports in Spain claim Barcelona have bid 7.2m to sign Manchester City defender Eric Garcia.
City boss Pep Guardiola revealed last month that Garcia, 19, wants to leave the Etihad having snubbed a new contract.
