The La Masia graduate has returned on Barca’s radar but the Parisians are said to be the favourites to land him.
Paris Saint-Germain are leading the race to sign Hector Bellerin with Arsenal ‘reluctantly ready to sell’ the right-back for £35m, according to the UK outlet the Independent.
Earlier this week, Catalan publication Sport claimed that Barcelona have contacted the Gunners over the 25-year-old as they are looking to replace Nelson Semedo.
Neither the Independent nor Sport are much of reliable sources so Bellerin’s stay at the Emirates Stadium remains a possibility.
The UK outlet, however, say that Arsenal want to raise around £40-50m to sign another midfielder in this transfer window.
As things stand now, Barca have to offload Semedo at the right price to enter the race for the La Masia graduate, who left the Catalans for the Premier League side in 2011.
