Atalanta defender Cristian Romero says it’s ‘too early for Atalanta to talk about scudetto’ and that he ‘would have little space at Juventus’.

“I’m getting used to the mentality, here you only play to win”, he told L’Eco di Bergamo.

The club wanted me very much, and I think it was the right choice to come here. Also because at Juventus I would have had little space.

“The training methods of [Ivan] Juric and [Gian Piero] Gasperini are similar, I still have to learn a lot, until a few years ago tactically I was a disaster, in Bergamo I try to look carefully at Toloi and Palomino.

“I think it’s too early to talk about the Scudetto, better to concentrate on one game at a time.

“The personal goal is to get a call-up with the National Team, although I firstly want to do well with Atalanta and show the coach that I’m ready”.
