Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti wants his club to bid for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot as he looks to steady his team.
According to France Football, via Sport Witness, the Italian is willing the Toffees to meet Juve’s €30m asking price to acquire the services of the French midfielder with the deal expected to happen in the coming summer.
Ancelotti has worked with Rabiot before at Paris Saint Germain where he handed the midfielder his debut at the club and is keen on a reunion with Juventus said to be keen on offloading the player who at one point had a frosty relationship with the Italian giants.
Rabiot had been linked with a move to Everton in January when it was suggested that negotiations were underway regarding a potential loan-to-buy deal but manager Andrea Pirlo considered the player a major part of his team as they blocked any move for him last month.
Rabiot who had a cold outing before Pirlo’s arrival now has a record of 12 starts in 18 outings and has also started and played all but 16 minutes of Juventus’ Coppa Italia campaign so far.
