West Ham United wants to bring Atletico Madrid winger Vitolo to the Premier League.
The Hammers are one of the teams fighting for a place in the top four in the English top-flight and a Champions League qualification will definitely give them an upper hand in the coming transfer.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, David Moyes believes that the 31-year-old still has a lot to offer going by his experience and will be a valuable addition to the team.
Vitolo has fallen down the pecking order under Diego Simeone and has made just 12 appearances in all competitions this season, featuring for a total of just under 400 minutes and with one year left on his current deal, the Spanish side is willing to listen to offers for the player.
The reports indicate that Atleti are looking to get around €10m for the player who joined them from Sevilla four years ago with West Ham said to have enquired about the player’s availability in January before moving for Jesse Lingard.
The Hammers are currently working to sign Lingard on a permanent deal from Manchester United but knows that the England international won’t come cheaply following the sterling performances that have put him in contention for the Euros.
