May is fast approaching, and what that means for football fans is that the 2020/21 domestic leagues are coming to a conclusion.
Many of the leagues though are far from being decided, save for the Bundesliga, where Bayern Munich could clinch the title on Saturday.
The Bavarians have opened a 10-point lead at the top of the table, and a win at Mainz will give them their ninth successive Bundesliga title.
Hans Flick’s side are the only side in the Bundesliga to have qualified for next season’s Champions League.
They are among the other five teams, with Spain’s usual suspects; Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Atletico Madrid having booked their slots.
The three sides are engaged in a battle for the LaLiga title, which is expected to go down to the wire.
In the English Premier League, Pep Guardiola’s side are inching closer to the crown with each passing match, and are currently eight points away from getting the job done. They are also the only Premier League side that has qualified for next season’s Champions League.
