Jerome Boateng has bid farewell to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, with the defender set to leave at the end of June.

Munich confirmed Boateng will be leaving the club in June on a free transfer revealing that the defender will not be signing a contract extension.

“Jerome’s contract expires in the summer. It will not be extended,” Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic said last month.

And now Boateng has posted on Instagram a farewell message after calling time on his stay at Bayern Munich.

Boateng has made 31 appearances with two goals and one assist this season under manager Hansi Flick.
