Former Juventus and Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has confirmed that he is willing to wait for a suitable project instead of signing any good financial offer.
The Italian boss lifted the Serie A title with Inter Milan last season, before stepping down after the club confirmed it will have to sell key players for its financial health.
Conte later entered the frame to be one of Real Madrid’s new coaches, before the club decided to go for Carlo Ancelotti. Tottenham Hotspur was the next club to have Conte on its radar but the two failed to reach mutual agreements.
So what’s next for Conte?
Antonio Conte to Gazzetta dello Sport: “Money is not my obsession. I look at projects and I’m ready to stay at home if they don’t convince me. I like difficult challenges but if there is something with a club that does not convince me, I prefer to say: no, thank you”. ⚪️ #THFC
